Knowledge:

Essential

  • A good base of job-related skill and experience and being able to apply this effectively in the role.
  • Knowledge of housing management and housing related support.
  • Ability to write clear reports.
  • Understanding of issues relating to single homeless.

Desirable

  • Awareness of the effects of mental health, disability or learning difficulties on individuals.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable people.
  • Knowledge of up-to-date legislation including housing law and health and safety in care and support settings.

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of general education, including GCSEs in Maths and English (or comparable)
  • Relevant qualification in housing and/or management preferable.

Other:

  • You will be required to work out of hours on occasion to deliver organisational objectives.

This role provides regulated activities under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Therefore, post holders are required to undertake a regular DBS check.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. All previous criminal convictions must be declared.
