The staff team comprises 5 people, 4 of whom provide resident support and the other provides cleaning and maintenance support.
We are available 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, part from a Tuesday when we are available until 5pm. Residents have access to an emergency out of hours service during other times. We are based in the main Wytham Hall building.
Residents are required as part of their licence to work with a key worker, but they are also encouraged to seek staff support as and when needed. We are a small team and as such get to know residents well and can offer a quick chat or support over a coffee. Support can cover a range of issues including education and training, budgeting and moving on.
Referrals are made to various external agencies to support resident development, and workshops are provided by external agencies covering subjects such as smoking cessation and healthy eating.
The team is also supported by a volunteer who provides basic computer support sessions, a counsellor (available every Tuesday via appointment) and someone dedicated to supporting you to make good use of time.
